This cabinet wig was created for the launch of Pompadour’s new tea collection, Bridgerton, a collaboration between the Italian tea company Pompadour and Netflix’s Bridgerton. The aim was to create an over-the-top, kitsch object in line with Bridgerton aesthetics and mid-century wig displays.
The piece is a giant, two-metre-high wig that also functions as a cabinet.
It was made using locally sourced materials, including wool from the Netherlands. The structure is lightweight, allows for colour changes if needed, and is designed to hold multiple products.
