About

Fabio was the first resident at Paskamer, and he will remain in history as such. From October 1st to November 16th, he worked on one of his personal hobbies: making pizza. What started as a past time-driven activity became an exploration of tradition, authen- ticity, and the rules that shape how we eat. Food is full of rules. Some are practical, others cultural, many unquestioned. This is how it should be done. This is how it has always been.

At Paskamer, Fabio used illustration and storytelling to examine these ideas, creating Epicuria, a world where food traditions take on mythical proportions. In Epicuria, battles unfold between those who guard tradition and those who seek to change it. The Cursed Council corrupts sacred recipes. The Prime Unifier blends flavors without restraint. The Closed-Eye Jester adds her own touch, blind to the chaos she causes. The Brown Death wipes out flavors entirely. These characters reflect real debates around food and identity: what belongs, what doesn’t, and who gets to decide. The residency ended with a gathering, a game of rolling dice. A moment to mix what “shouldn’t” be mixed and see what happens when rules are rewritten. The event played out as an odd experiment in taste and expectation, leaving an imprint on how we and our guests cook and eat to this day.

Fabio Salvadori is an art director and graphic designer with an illustration-oriented mindset and advanced skills in CGI and generative visual techniques. His practice focuses on visual investigations aimed at demystifying clichés and challenging dominant narratives, using design as a critical tool to convey complex messages. Through a mix of detailed data analysis, image-making, and experimentation with both digital and physical media, he builds visual stories that offer unexpected perspectives on contemporary issues.
